MRA boldly
embarked on its maiden mission in 2010 during which the
organisation managed to deploy 10 medical teams to Padang Pariaman,
Indonesia, which were badly affected by major earthquake. Under the
humanitarian mission, MRA successfully collaborated with several
corporations to build 400 new homes for the victims within only three
months. MRA has since grown to become one of the most active
humanitarian organisations in Malaysia with numerous success
missions both in Malaysia and abroad.
While
having its headquarters situated in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, MRA
has nine branch offices located in the various states across Malaysia,
including Sabah and Sarawak. Each branch office is responsible to
carry out numerous humanitarian missions in the respective state
including long-term nationwide-scale programmes.
